Our Team
We’re a small but mighty team with a shared passion for building community through golf. With a mix of creative vision, thoughtful planning, and a whole lot of heart, we’re focused on creating events and experiences that are fun, welcoming, and empowering. Our collaboration blends big-picture strategy with everyday details—and together, we’re growing something special for women in St. Louis.
Maggie Lessel
Maggie created Fore the Girls STL to blend her love of community, creativity, and connection. With a background in design, events, and brand building, she leads the vision, content, and overall experience—bringing the group to life through thoughtful storytelling, social strategy, and a genuine love for helping women feel confident on the course.
Kate Arthur
Kate joined early on to support and scale the growing community. She brings organization, planning, and a strategic eye to every part of Fore the Girls STL—from event logistics to calendar building and beyond. With a talent for keeping things on track and a passion for growing something meaningful, she plays a key role in turning ideas into action.

To create an inclusive golf community that empowers women through connection, confidence, and play—on and off the course. We believe in learning together, showing up as you are, and having fun along the way.
Our Journey
Fore the Girls STL was born from a desire to change the golf experience for women in St. Louis. After realizing how few women felt truly welcomed in the sport, Maggie started the group to make golf feel less intimidating and more inclusive. As events have grown and the community has taken shape, Kate joined to help bring structure, strategy, and vision to the brand.
Today, we’re proud to be building something that goes beyond golf—one swing and one new friend at a time.
